Just sharing some of the fruit being born through my piano lessons with @kachi_ude ! S/O to @so_loochie for getting me ahead with basic theory and breaking down the number system with guitar lessons. S/O to @ayothesinger who has been working my ear and helping me become more confident and build control with my voice. (Not adequately portrayed here, but wait on it. 😅😂 ) P.S I said D flat in the video which is incorrect. 🥴 More Grace, in Jesus’ name!!!
Summer: Camelia, where you from? Cameroon? You Senegalese? Camelia: No, these box braids. #SundayFunday 🤣

A special Happy Birthday to my older sister Sydney. 🤎 Ever since we were babies she’s set the bar for academics and self esteem. Grew up in West Charlotte together until we moved to Maryland and was one of the first visitors we had when we moved. When @jay .lucks and I had our first full blown fist fight she was the one that broke it up. 😅😂 She’s been a safe place for us all her life to learn and be corrected in love. She’s never shut us out, and taught us new words when we couldn’t quite express ourselves thoroughly enough. Even though I used to think she did, she never picked sides between us either. Jesus was intentional and made her with me in mind. Even to the detail of her giving her life to Christ and creating even greater depth in our relationship. I love you Sydney!! May The Lord continue to keep you in even greater measure than He has kept me through you.
My two babies @ailemac__ & @farajiboomin are turning 20 at 12:00. Go show them some love!! These two right here literally bring me such joy and comfort it’s actually crazy. Both have the same major, the same SAVIOR and were born the same day in the same year! My God is VERY intentional. Camelia and I grew close through ministry at Bowie State and my lil baby empathizes and keeps it completely honest with me. I never have to pull teeth to love on her. Faraji and I grew close at Howard through ministry there and he has been an encourager from the jump. You know them southern babies that’s already carrying themselves like a lil old man. That’s my lil baby Faraj. Born and raised in NC like yours truly, a great listener and truly a man of God that knows his Father well while exemplifying Him everywhere he goes. Testimony time: Faraji and Camelia were on the phone with me one day and Camelia was discouraged with her progress in one of her classes, Faraji having the same major gave her a timely word of encouragement on doing her best with integrity of a believer and long story short both Camelia and Faraj finished with all A’s this past semester. Jesus thank you for the family you’ve placed me in. I’m really grateful for your unique, beautiful and brilliant creations.
Once we’re free go book shorty. @ogstyled by @ogtomisin Showing love comes in many forms. A word of affirmation, a rebuke against dangerous behavior, some money sent through cashapp, a phone call when you’re thinking about someone, patronage of their business etc. Showing love is NOT doing these things with the intent that they’re now obligated to reciprocate. Who shows love in your life? How can YOU show more love during this time? "Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them." -Proverbs 3:27 NLT
