Ever have those days where you wanna workout somewhere else than you usually do? - That was me today 🙋🏼‍♀️ - Packed up my kettlebells, mat, and abmat, drove 1/2 mile from our house, parked it and started.. - I did a 5 min warm up + workout.. finished total with warm up 44 min. - I slept amazing last night so I was feeling great today! - 10 rounds 5 push press (70lb ) 10 KB deadlifts (70lb ) 15 abmat sit-ups 400m run + 1 more round minus the run to take video 🙃🙂 - REALLY enjoyed this workout. Brown Rice Pulao 🍚 For days when we don't want to eat too many sides, All in one - Protein, Veggies, Complex Carbs, Fiber, Fats. . Recipe 📝 - Ingredients : * 1 cup brown rice * Mustard oil * Jeera * 5-10 mint leaves * 2 medium onions * Veggies (seasonal, of your choice ) * 1 bay leaf * 1 tsp ginger garlic paste * Salt to taste - Method : * Wash and cook brown rice with bay leaf and salt. Then set aside. * Heat pan on a medium flame with oil, cumin seeds allow them to splutter. * Add finely sliced onions and sautee till it loses color, add ginger- garlic paste and fry for a few more minutes. * Add slit green chilies, edamame, mint, coriander/cilantro saute for a while. * Then add the cooked brown rice and mix thoroughly. Yesterday

** HONESTY POST ** Okay so I’m not going to lie. I have found the last six months extremely difficult with my weight loss journey and I’m pretty sure there have been others in the same boat as me. I’ve tried my hardest not to weigh myself as much within the last couple of months, because it becomes a vicious cycle: I see the number on the scale, don’t like it and then comfort myself by eating rubbish. It’s all well and good having a healthy dinner, but then I find myself having a bit of chocolate here or a glass of wine there. I can use many things as excuses, for example being out of a normal routine etc, but at the end of the day I’ve only got myself to blame. So today I weighed myself 11’7. I started my journey last March at 12’4, and got down to 10.4 in October, I genuinely feel so gutted for undoing all the hard work that I put in and for some reason feel bigger than I ever have in my life 😩My goal is to get back to lower than the 10’4 by March next year when I go wedding dress shopping, because quite frankly I really don’t like the thought of myself looking in the mirror right now. Sober October starts next week so I’m hoping that will help play a part, along with starting the 30 day shred dvd too. I have a love hate relationship with transformation pics. It brought me most of my followers so I’m very grateful for that 🥰 But it’s also pretty superficial 🤔 Putting two bodies next to eachother doesn’t say anything. As I posted before a fit body isn’t always a healthy body let along a healthy mind‼️⠀ ⠀ I also struggle at times with the message that I’m bringing across with these pictures. My nr one focus on this page is #bodyacceptance but these pics “promote” #weightloss . So some may find this very contradictory 🤔 ⠀ ⠀ As you’ve noticed I chose the hashtag #bodyacceptance and not #bodypositive . Cause I think we don’t have to be positive about our bodies all the time. This is a quite a bold statement to make so let me explain ➡️⠀ ⠀ If you don’t take good care of your body, live an unhealthy live and therefore gained a lot of weight (left pic ) I don’t think you have to see that as a positive thing. Cause why are you neglecting your health? That’s never ok❣️ This has nothing to do with the fact that you should still love your body no matter what! I actually think that a lack of love is the reason why people fail to take good care of their body most of the times! 🤔⠀ ⠀ #bodyacceptance for me stands for loving your body regardless, accepting your body and trying to be the best version of yourself ✨ Sometimes that means losing weight, sometimes gaining and sometimes just maintaining.
