💥 Simple Shoulder Sucessories! 💥 Lifting heavy bells will get you the strength results you desire, but if you really want muscles that are strong on the inside and look good on the outside, adding accessories like these will round out a solid shoulder day! 💪 1️⃣ Lateral Raise Don’t grip the handle on this one, but try to maintain a friction lock with your thumb and forefinger, so the kettlebell is always hanging directly below your palm. This will make it easier to keep an unbroken wrist, and the constant vertical position of the bell will help you to focus on engaging your shoulder, rather than on keeping an iron fist 👊 2️⃣ Bottoms Up Press Keep an unbroken wrist with the kettlebell directly over your elbow, and don’t finish full overhead extension. This will help keep the anterior head of the deltoid loaded longer, and you’ll gain a lot of strength through skill adaptation in stabilizing the bell from below! ✊ 3️⃣ Posterior Delt Row We love our heavy rows, but if you want to build out your shoulders, you need to give the posterior delts some love. By protracting the scapula and focusing on a controlled pull with the weight hanging directly under your shoulder, you can load and develop muscles that often only enjoy a role in stabilizing bigger movements 🤙 Throw these in as accessories on upper body days, or as new-skill exercises on conditioning days - and they may be more challenging than you expect, don’t be afraid to use a pastel bell! 💞
