I’ve been practicing yoga for 12 years now. Though it hasn’t always been the most consistent journey... I see yoga as an instrument that you ALWAYS have at your disposal. Whether it’s helping your back problems, or helping you to understand and work through different emotions. This is something you can maintain your health with, and not be dependent on anyone else to do it for you. If you need more motivation with yoga - invest in yourself and take a class, watch a YouTube video, set up a space where you can go when you need to “just stretch”. Yoga is supposed to be a part of your life throughout all the stages. Try different methods, studios or teachers until it clicks for you, because it is an incredible health back to have in your toolkit. How long have you been on a journey with yoga?

Nonostante sia un esercizio difficile, tra i suoi punti di forza c’è senz’altro la “semplicità” di esecuzione: poiché, non richiedendo particolari attrezzi, viene svolto generalmente a corpo libero. L’allenamento consiste in lente torsioni sull’addome, eseguite da seduti con la schiena a 45º: i piedi restano poggiati a terra nella sua esecuzione più semplice; se si vuole aumentare il lavoro muscolare invece, l’esercizio si può eseguire tenendo i piedi distaccati da terra, poggiando quindi la stabilità esclusivamente sui glutei. Per aumentare ulteriormente la difficoltà del Russian Twist si possono aggiungere pesi (SlamBall, kettlebell, dischi, manubri ) in base alle esigenze e alle capacità di chi lo esegue. 2️⃣8️⃣ weeks since I moved back home with my parents and began at-home workouts. Who would’ve thought that I, lover of in-person gyms and group fitness classes, would grow to love at-home workouts with minimal equipment?!
