Shoulder Building 💪🏼 This workout I focused on low weight and high reps with very little rest time in between. Which has been the story of my life this week so my body is defeated 🥵 . . Want to know something? There really is no one size fits all best approach for everyone. With training methods, nutrition protocols, the number of hours you should sleep a night..the list goes on. Trends spread through the fitness industry like wildfire. People are always looking for the next big thing, the next method that’s going to transform their physique. ‘X is doing this with their clients.’ ‘This person is eating cream of rice post workout, should I be doing that too?’ Rather than searching for the latest game changer or quick fix, do you know what would serve you much better when it comes to maximising your progress? Finding an approach that you can adhere to and which works for you as an individual, and staying consistent with it over time. Fine tune your methods over time yes, maybe introduce/try something new every now and again. But throwing the kitchen sink at what you’re doing, introducing something that you don’t enjoy or agree with just because everyone else is doing so, and jumping from one trend/program to the next every couple of months is a very unproductive way to approach your nutrition/training. Bare nyter utsikten litt🤷🏼‍♀️ Nei, men virkelig, jeg ser så tydelig fremgang i treningen om dagen og jeg er faktisk skikkelig stolt! Denne genseren kunne jeg faktisk ikke bruke for ett år siden, den satt så stramt at det var skikkelig stygt.. men nå sitter den veldig fint. Jeg trener mest for helsen og gleden sin del, men det er jo absolutt gøy når man ser fremgangen slik føler! Midje, lår, legger alt er blitt mindre og jeg liker det, og det er ikke noe gale å si føler jeg! Nå har jeg også gjort noe uvanlig, nemlig lagt måltidsplanen min og treningen min i @jarrahmartinfitness_wbffpro sine hender, og skal neste uke begynne på et program han har laget! Building the 🍑 one day at a time. Ive learned to appreciate my body the way it is and continue to work on building my body to improve on what I want and my goals. Im not working my a$$ off Im working it on the natural way 💪🏼 . I think for most women its hard to not compare or think were not "goals" if we don't look a certain way & its a bit disappointing to see bc there are many "influencers" or pages of women who won't tell anybody they did body contouring, enhancements, or laser lipo & there are those who do share the real deal but also each person's body shape can be different based on your height, size of hips, size of upperbody, torso/waist, where you store fat, genetics, etc. In the end its part of your body & doesn't make you any of a better person due to its size, who you are does 😉 . There are no quick workouts or tricks, it takes time, nutrition, training and dedication. . Its good to appreciate your hard work no matter what part of your journey you are at, strive for progress, not perfection, work hard for what you want. When you truly appreciate yourself you stop comparing and just enjoy the feel good feeling 😊 & start seeing others hard work as motivation to be YOUR bestself. . Handstand drills 🤸🏼‍♀️ 🕸 Wall toe taps - These help me find my upside down centre of balance. Helps me feel and remember where my legs need to be and suchlike. 🕸 Stacking - A game changer. Stack the bones and lessen the load on the muscles, uses less energy and promotes better form. Not really a drill, more of a random FYI. 🕸 Shoulder shrugs - you know it. Strengthens the muscles surrounding the scapula, pretty integral body part in performing a handstand.
