you could say that I haven’t had the best day ever today - putting up with a lot of negativity and doubt from the people who are meant to love and support your passions the most is heartbreaking. Being pressured to quit your sport and “grow up” all day long through a barrage of texts and phone calls is not the best fuel for a session, especially when it’s coming from someone who is supposed to love you unconditionally. Usually I wouldn’t say anything and not rock the boat but today I grew a spine and stood up for myself. There is not a single person on this planet that I will allow to put me down or make me feel insignificant. I’ve worked this hard and proven to myself exactly what I’m capable of, this is just the start and I have a lifetime to prove to myself how strong I can be. #veesquats100 . . Did some squats today. Adding volume back in sucks and being weak sucks but I’m getting that shit done anyways😇 also finally did an adult thing today and made an appointment to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Just wanted to brag about that. Not excited to be sedated and miss a week of training, but excited about all the ice cream coming my way. Current status on the lean bulk: 145 -> 150 lbs . Taking things slow, as my goals have stayed the same: getting strong, staying athletic and functional, and staying healthy. 🏋️‍♂️ Thankfully my numbers have been going up except for the 😩 b e n c h p r e s s 😩 While still strength training 3-4 times per week, my cardio has been *somewhat* maintained thanks to @diazcombatsports and its been a fun challenge to be learning something completely new like muay thai for the past 2 months.
