Metti in forno a 200° fino a cottura. ​ ➡️Lascia ammorbidire una melanzana media tagliata a cubettoni con un dito di acqua, uno spicchio di aglio e un cucchiaio di olio evo coprendo con un coperchio. My honest opinion on intermittent fasting⁣ ⁣ I honestly don't understand what the hype is about.⁣ ⁣ Limit your eating window, and yes you'll probably eat less. Eat less and yes (over time ) you'll probably lose weight. ⁣ ⁣ While it's tempting to medicalise intermittent fasting and it's benefits, at the end of the day the majority of people lose weight (or reap other physiological/metabolic benefits ) purely from a calorie restriction.⁣ ⁣ And while some studies have noted improvements in LDL (bad ) cholesterol, inflammatory markers, and insulin sensitivity, long-term studies into the impacts of fasting on metabolic markers are few are far between. ⁣ ⁣ One thing I DO like about intermittent fasting is the impact it may have on your ability to pay more attention to what and when you eat. That is, being more mindful about what and how much you're eating rather than mindlessly snacking and eating because its 'meal time'. ⁣ ⁣ But I don't think you need to be intermittently fasting to discover and reap the benefits of mindful eating.⁣ ⁣ That goes without saying, intermittent fasting should not be utilised as a weight loss mechanism for some population groups. ⁣ ⁣ Pregnant women, adolescents or children, and those who have distorted eating habits or eating disorders should not partake in an IF regimen. This is particularly true for regimens such as alternate day or modified (5:2 ) fasting regimens. ⁣ ⁣ So what do I think? ⁣ ⁣ I think that a natural overnight fast is an easy way to give your digestion a bit of a break and to promote restful sleep and regulate a healthy appetite. But in terms of weight loss and the many fasting regimens out their, I don't think we should forget the basic tenets - consume a variety of whole, fresh foods, practice portion control and reduce saturated fats and processed foods. ⁣ ⁣ Don't over complicate it. ⁣ ⁣ Al xx ⁣

Inflammation in the body can be both good and bad.. it helps your body fight infection and injury, but too much for a long period of time can increase your risk of developing diseases such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease Some foods have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which, when consumed alongside a balanced diet and daily movement, can help prevent disease ⭐️ these foods include berries, fatty fish (e.g salmon ), green tea & turmeric My favourite thing recently has been having turmeric oats for breakfast!! The recipe 👇🏼 - 1/2 cup quick oats - 1 tbsp chia seeds - 1/2 tsp turmeric - 1/2 tsp cinnamon - 1/4 tsp turmeric - pinch of salt - 1/2 cup milk + 1/2 cup water Cook on the stovetop or microwave until your desired consistency, you may also like to stir in some protein powder (I like @inlinenutrition vanilla pea protein ) 👏🏻
