HIPTHRUSTS for those who would like some advice on what equipment to use and how to set it up, this is my first time trying hipthrusts with a barbell hopefully this helps some people out there struggling ! 🍑🍑❤️✅ My form is not perfect ! And to be honest nobodies is until they’ve done an exercise multiple times and become comfortable with it! This is why i prefer to start off these exercises far far away from the heavy weights which are downstairs in the gym group, so I can feel more comfortable in my own private space. I’ve seen a lot of comments about being anxious about using heavy weights for your glutes as you don’t understand the equipment, I hope this post can help anyone having these thoughts🍑❤️Always remember you have to start with smaller weights to build up to the higher weights- this can take a long long time just remember you are always making progress. Tycker det är så kul och intressant hur mina mål har förändrats längs med vägen. När jag började träna var målet att bli så smal och liten som möjligt. Det är inte längre min vision och jag hoppas även det framgår i mitt flöde. Jag brukade se upp till modellerna på VS fashion show, det gör jag inte längre, visst är de snygga men det är inte längre mitt kroppsideal. Jag har gått från att äta som en mus till att nästan äta som en häst, från timtals av cardio till att lägga fokus på styrketräning, jag har gått från att avsky det jag ser i spegeln till att acceptera det jag ser men fortfarande ha viljan att utvecklas och bli bättre. Jag hoppas jag kan inspirera dig till att våga göra det du vill, våga säga det du vill, våga stå för den du är och våga ändra dina vision om du känner för det. Hip thrust is everyone favorite for working the glutes. Be sure you have your feet about hip width apart, maintain a forward gaze and maintain a vertical shin. Moving your feet too far out may cause you to feel these in your hamstrings more and too close to your body you may feel these in your quads more. Save it & give it a go!  Sumo DLs 4S of 8 reps  Dead Lifts 4 sets 8 reps  Good mornings 8 sets 10 reps(focus here )  Hip thrusts 4sets of 6  End with leg curls and hamstring kick backs (not pictured )  I’m testing out some new tempos so during my DeadLifts I’m using 3-2-3-0 tempo to ensure my muscles are activated and increase time under tension.     Using specific tempos helps:  Improved stability   Improved motor control   Activation of correct muscles   Teaching control   Adds variety   •  What the numbers stand for? Har ju sagt att jag älskar att slakta ben i stora t-shirts, men att bara gå omkring hemma i en mysig stor t-shirt är inget jag tackar nej till heller. Jag är en person som suger åt mig stress och press. Att prestera på top hela tiden känns som ett måste, det finns inget annat val liksom. I gott och ont, jag pressar mig väldigt långt både på gymmet och på jobbet, Why be average When you can be more mentaliteten liksom 😜 Men ibland måste man också låta sig själv göra lagom, ibland är lagom mer, lagom är ett ord som inte finns i min vokabulär och ett ord jag inte gillar, men måste verkligen lära mig det. Hip Thrust o Empuje de Cadera Siguiendo con el post anterior, les presento al ejercicio rey de los gluteos. Este ejercicio es relativamente simple de ejecutar pero es muy importante dominar el propio peso para poder agregar peso extra. Aqui algunos puntos a tener en cuenta para su tecnica. 📌 Apoyo la región escapular en el banco 📌 Empuje a travez de los talones 📌 Lograr extensión completa de la cadera hasta nivelar cadera hombros y muslos 📌 Asegurar que las tibias esten perpendiculares y la rodillas a 90° en la extensión 📌 Mantener la mirada hacia adelante y la barbilla cerca del pecho 📌 Mantener rodillas afuera 📌 Respirar profundamente y realiza un bracing antes de cada levantamiento 📌 Al final de cada extension mantene un breve momento y apreta los gluteos. The goal for 2020 was to hip thrust 3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ pounds . Covid threw a bit of a wrench in those plans for a few months but I’ve been working my butt off (get it 😂 I think I’m clever ) to make it happen . And it did😈🔥 . But I think it’s important to talk about expectations of yourself. We should all have expectations of ourselves; physically, professionally, financially, mentally, in all aspects. And sometimes we don’t meet them . 1️⃣ I’m pumped and excited that I got 300 pounds up in the air (that’s about 2.4 times my bodyweight ) . 2️⃣ BUT I’m a little bummed because I expected to hammer out a couple reps but once I got that weight up, I could feel that wasn’t going to happen. And last time I was at 285 for 6 so expecting a couple reps at 300 was totally feasible. . It doesn’t help that I absolutely HATE 1 rep maxes so I figured at least I could throw in an iso-hold at the top to add something to it🤷🏼‍♀️ . Did I fail? No. I wanted a 300 pound thrust and I got a 300 pound thrust. But it’s less than I expected of myself. My standards were higher than I performed🤔 . And I think it’s important to analyze and learn from that. I’m happy I did it. But you best believe I’m sitting here now going through everything that factored into that lift and trying to pinpoint what I could have done better before that weight left the ground🧐 . A lot of people say to learn from failure and that’s totally valuable advice. But it’s also valuable to learn from times you didn’t fail but maybe fell short somewhat so you can kick more ass next time💪🏼 . So technically hip thrust goal for 2020 achieved ✅but I don’t think I’ll be fully content until I can hit like 3 consecutive reps 😂in which case I guess it’s good there’s still 2.5 months in the year👍🏼 . Also I’ve been trying to work on my self confidence and I’m soo feelin’ myself in this outfit 👌🏼 the seams on those shorts though like cmon 😍 . . . GOOTD: @buffbunny_collection

Försöker jobba på att fylla upp ryggen lite, man vill ju inte vara bred och platt utan man vill ju ha lite djup också. Dom brukar säga att man inte kan få allt här i världen men jag skall ha båda två punkt slut. ☆10 MINUTES is all you need. #corework • Quick yoga inspired abs work, quick but not easy. Might not look like a tough one but trust me it burns. ☀️ LEG DAY ☀️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1. SQUATS⁣⁣ 2. HIP THRUSTS⁣⁣ 3. LYING LEG CURLS⁣⁣ 4. BACK EXTENSIONS (GLUTE FOCUSED )⁣⁣ - round your upper back⁣⁣ - feet turned out at 45 degrees ⁣⁣ - squeeze glutes to almost thrust into the pad⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I was supposed to use the hip abductor for my final exercise but it was really busy and I got hungry so I didn’t 😅⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ You don’t need to do 8 different exercises in order to feel like you had a good workout!!! This was my most simple leg day in forever and I was soreee the next day! Quality over quantity 👌🏼

Har ju sagt att jag älskar att slakta ben i stora t-shirts, men att bara gå omkring hemma i en mysig stor t-shirt är inget jag tackar nej till heller. Jag är en person som suger åt mig stress och press. Att prestera på top hela tiden känns som ett måste, det finns inget annat val liksom. I gott och ont, jag pressar mig väldigt långt både på gymmet och på jobbet, Why be average When you can be more mentaliteten liksom 😜 Men ibland måste man också låta sig själv göra lagom, ibland är lagom mer, lagom är ett ord som inte finns i min vokabulär och ett ord jag inte gillar, men måste verkligen lära mig det. Jag hoppas att även du låter dig vara lite lagom ibland, istället för att kriga dig igenom ett benpass, pröva kriga dig igenom en kväll i soffan istället med fötterna upp i taket. 2.5 years between booty’s. Only thing that’s the same? My drive. . What I changed? My hair like 4x, I know . MY GYM PRESCRIPTIONS. I chased quad based lifts because they made me feel so damn strong and I WANTED those 45 plates on that standard baby . didn’t give me the shape I wanted . VOLUME. We love to FEEL a workout in the moments time, but it’s your NET work along with the daily work that makes up the body you are after. I stopped doing silly lifts that are cute and not straight to the point #smarternotharder . CARDIO. I was a gymnast THEN a runner, THEN a lifter-cardiobunny-doitall-take-the-classes-sometimes2xaday-er chasing the “best” aesthetics person :: No. I’ve tapered to about 90 min a week, sometimes hiit, mostly steady. I use it as a tool, not my primary mojo . MY DIET. Carbs are everything for a booty wanting to grow. And not just carbs, but protein and fats to create a balance in the body. I will never try to turn you plant based, but I will speak about what it’s done for me and tell you it’s been serious miracle grow to my muscles and strength . SLEEP & REST DAYS. I honor that bed of mine. My diet and not-over-stressed body has been liking a full nights sleep for recovery. And I’ve become accustomed to listening to my body rather than following what’s in black and white . ADDED PROGRESSIVE BASED LIFTS. I started tracking all of my weights and started a baseline for myself with a program, so on a Monday when “I don’t feel like it” there’s really no excuse . MY UNDERSTANDING & PATIENCE. I made plenty of mistakes but hit the drawing board after many failed attempts to aim for the “right” thing (MY right thing ) . And...understanding that food is fuel and that is EVERYTHING. You can’t get around it . BEING ON MY OWN TEAM. I’ve learned instead of being swayed by other people’s judgements, I got me till the end. Not everyone understands what you are trying to do. But...it’s simply up to you to just DO, and make it SOMETHING that matters . I’ve stuck by that mantra. I feel I can be and do what I want and that confidence has taken me very far with my mental state of fitness no matter where I am at on my journey 🤍 #transformationtuesday

Happy Flex Friday 💪🏼 . ✔️ First week of this months program in the books. Starting off feeling strong and can’t wait to see how much my lifts increase by, by the end of this month. . Especially proud that I’m finally hip thrusting over 200lbs ! I’ve been doing them consistently for 3 months now and have went from doing 95lbs to 205lbs🤩 . And 205 wasn’t even that hard but it’s deload week so coach doesn’t want me going to failure yet . ✨Hope you all Have a safe Holiday weekend
