💫Monday lesson from Dr. Slay✨✨👩🏼‍⚕️👀 . Sooo many of us mindlessly scroll through Instagram and compare ourselves to others.....🧠 . The picture on the left, just as worthy as the one on the right .... BUT why do we feel the need 85% of the time that we have to pose ? and the other 15% maybe you’ll catch us how we actually look or should always stand!! Instagram models and athletic companies still struggle to show us that it’s OK if our abs aren’t perfect and our thighs touch. Yes I said it, my thighs touch! . It’s important for us to stop comparing ourselves to what others look like on the gram. Of course, humans will always pick the picture they look the best in or are posed perfectly in or which angel makes their butt look🔥🔥! . Instagram should be used as a platform to share and promote what people love to do! To show pictures and videos of hobbies, likes and maybe even dislikes..... not to cross judgments and hide our flaws. . My hair will also be a lions mane .... 😏 . Rock you like a hurricane! 🎶 🌪️ 🎸 🤘 🎵: Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane That song definitely psyched me up for tonight's workout 😏 Another workout from the Me Fitness/Better Me app, although it's the first time I've done a workout without any gym equipment. Again, a lot of different exercises but quite repetitive in that some of the exercises you had to do over and over again (I lost count ) in short second bursts. 🔴PERSPECTIVE🔴 - Bout of COVID means it’s dungeon/garage workouts for now, but we’re still putting the work in regardless. 👊🏽 - Setbacks, whether they are injury, illness, or life related are inevitable at some point or another. 😭 - What’s more important how YOU choose to view that setback, and whether you choose to let it negatively impact your life. Naturally, I do feel a bit down when things like this happen, as I do enjoy being productive and I hate feeling powerless, but I never use it as an excuse to just throw everything out of the window. I find it useful take a step back and try to think about what I CAN do rather than what I CANNOT. I then usually realise I don’t have it so bad after all. 🤷🏽‍♂️ - Anyways, cheesy motivational speech over, take care guys and stay safe! ✌🏽

Funny Monday #mondaymotivation "Go hard or go home" "No Pain No Gain" "Beastmode ON" Diese Sprüche kennst du, wenn du die Fitnesswelt durchstöberst und darin aktiv bist. Man soll fokussiert sein, Vollgas geben und richtig hart für seine Ziele im Training arbeiten. Das ist auch eine wichtige Mentalität, doch was ist denn eigentlich mit Spaß? Darf man Spaß haben im Training ? Oder ist das Training dann zu larifari? Ich beantworte diese Frage nicht nur mit einem Ja, sondern ich gehe noch einen Schritt weiter und behaupte man sollte sogar Spaß haben bei und an seinem Training. Natürlich arbeiten wir alle hart und schweißtreibend an unseren Zielen, doch langfristig gesehen, sollten wir Vergnügen und Freude an unserem Sport bzw. Training haben. Nur dann können wir Motivationslöcher möglichst vermeiden und jedes mal auf ein Neues mit Freude in unser Training starten. Ein Trainingsplan kann noch so gut sein, wenn du dabei keinen Spaß hast, ist er auf Dauer zum Scheitern verurteilt.
