‼️MY #1 TIP FOR BACK TRAINING‼️ . ✅ Whether you're doing a row or a pull-up/pulldown variation, let your shoulder blades move freely! This means letting the weight pull your shoulders up (for pulldowns ) or down/forward (for rows ), and then pulling the weight by squeezing your shoulder blades together. . Why❓ Dynamic contractions (where the muscle lengthens and then shortens ) are better for muscle growth than isometric ones (where the muscle maintains a certain length throughout the movement ). When you fix your shoulder blades in place, your mid and lower traps will stay at a certain length to keep them in that position. If you let your shoulder blades move away from each other, your traps will lengthen and then actively contract to pull them together, and that will be a much better stimulus for growth. . For pulldowns, you should let the weight pull your shoulders up so that your lats can fully lengthen. Your lats (some fibers ) also contribute to some extent to scapular retraction and depression, which is another reason to let the shoulder blades move freely. . ➡️ If you usually fix your shoulder blades in place, try this and then let me know. how’s everyone’s Monday going!!! this was a winning colour combo 😍✔️ this back and biceps workout last thursday still has me feeling sore today can you imagine 😩 what I did ⬇️ 💪🏽 barbell row - 10 reps 5 sets 💪🏽 barbell bicep curls - 10 reps 4 sets 💪🏽 lat pulldown - 12 reps 4 sets 💪🏽 narrow grip seated rows - 12 reps 4 sets 💪🏽 cable bicep curl - 10 reps 3 sets 💪🏽 bent over lateral raise - 10 reps 4 sets ouchhhh this was a goodun 😩 personally i think a sculpted back looks amazing and it feels so good to have strong back muscles too! probs my favvv day to train!! training back especially helps with improving posture and preventing lower back pain! whichhhh if ur sat hunched over a computer all day this is super beneficial for. It also goes hand in hand with a strengthening the core muscles too 💥 also girlies... if u don’t have the smallest waist like me training upper body helps achieve that “hourglass” figure as the added muscle mass on top helps your waist appear slimmer! #fitnesshack lol 😉

Séance pyramidale Squat pour moi aujourd’hui J’ai uniquement filmé une petite partie en pic de séance à 180kg x5 et 200kg x2 Warm up à 60kg et 100kg 140kg x8 180kg x5 200kg x2 160kg x6 140kg x8 4min de repos entre les séries (on tape fort le système nerveux avec le pic donc logique pour le temps de repos long ) Au final j’étais censé faire 1 rep à 210kg mais la forme du jour n’était pas top donc pour la prochaine fois 🔥 -Comme je dis toujours, facile de faire le « fort » avec 500kg sur la presse à cuisse. Rather than being the “I’ll be happy when” person, try being the “Although I’m not where I want to be yet, I’m learning to love and embrace every part of my journey for what it’s worth” person. . It’s super easy to get caught up in being the first person. I’ve fallen guilty before, more than once. But truth be told, if you don’t learn to love the journey and the process of getting from point A to point B, when you finally get to point B, you won’t have as great of an appreciation . In the sport of bodybuilding and with any fitness oriented goal, there are always going to be different phases along the way, some more pleasurable that others. But each one holds a special purpose and will teach you something special. When you’re in a dieting phase, you learn to appreciate the grind, hustle and changes to your physique on a weekly basis. But when you’re in a building phase or even a maintenance phase where weekly physical changes aren’t as common, you have to shift your mindset and place value on things such as your strength, energy, and what your body allows you to do. Each phase has a purpose and shapes the end product.
