So, I messed up. Big time! I've gained weight and its not muscle. It's straight up fat. I'm embarrassed and ashamed of myself. I need to lose weight. I dont want to get kicked out of the Army because I'm fat. What's my goal? I have three goals. 1. Short term: Get down to 220lb 2. Mid term: Get down to 200lb 3. Long term: Get down to 180lb 4. Try to be like @richfroning . If you see Rich Froning in the Crossfit Games you can see why he was the fittest man on Earth. That's what I want. I want to be able to perform in the military. I don't want to be that guy that can lift heavy, but struggles with running. I want to be strong and athletic. If that makes any sense. 5. Try to build that mentality that David Goggins has. That man is a beast. Look up his testimony. There's some stuff that I want to do in the Army and its requires to have a strong mentality. 6. This is pretty good pace. 8 miles run in just over an hour is a good run. But it wasn’t supposed to be like this. I was aiming for an easy run with around 8 minutes per mile pace. The problem I have is I see person in front of me and my competitive switch turns on so I have to run faster to be better. This might sound and look as a good thing to have but it can be very counter productive...
